🫓 Mexican hruchevo
I came across this recipe a few years ago quite by accident, and it turned out that the man was from the same country as me.
Ingredients #
- The base or so-called base
- 4 tortilla (or pita) circles
- 2 chicken fillets
- 150-200 grams of cheese
- 2 bell peppers
- 4-6 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Paprika, salt, pepper (optional)
- Salad
- cucumber
- tomatoes
- olives
- red onion
- corn
- greens
- olive oil
- salt, pepper (to taste)
- DLC
- quail eggs (but chicken eggs are also possible)
- sour cream (or greek yogurt)
Guide #
- On a baking tray we put the fillets, salt, pepper, add paprika and bell peppers cut into strips.
- Cover everything generously with tomato sauce, mix well and send to the oven for 90 minutes at 160 degrees.
- With a fork or your hands, tear the fillet into small pieces and stir again.
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- The most difficult step. The Making of a Gigablin.
- In a pan or any other round shape put a sheet of tortilla. Put a good layer of cheese on it.
- Again the tortilla sheet, some cheese, all our fillet stuffing prepared above and some more cheese.
- Another sheet of tortilla, a good layer of cheese and cover with tortilla.
- Cover the mold with a lid and put it in the oven for 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
- Salad.
- Chop and mix all the ingredients from step 2.
- Boil the eggs, peel and cut in half.
- Gigablin cut into 4 pieces, place 1/4 piece on a plate.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sour cream or Greek yogurt per slice of blin, add salad and eggs.
